Our Services

IPC supports the community by providing quality of life services so that everyone can EAT:

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT 

  • WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT - JOB/CAREER: Professional & Career Development, Internship, Childcare Development
  • EDUCATION: Scholarships for trade skills, Youth Mentorship
  • BUSINESS: Education/Seminars, Business Development, Start-up Support, Coaching & Mentoring
  • COMMUNITY LIVING SUPPORT: Trauma Responsive support to include Independent Living Skills/Support, Intensive Family Support/Mentorship (foster care and transitional support), Elder Support/Advocacy, Domestic Violence Support/Advocacy Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health Support; 
  • COMMUNITY EDUCATION: Training designed to build communities such as financial literacy; estate planning; personal development; life and living skills and trauma-responsive education.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING: 

  • Housing Education (FREE to the public)
  • Reasonably priced housing opportunities for marginalized citizens (i.e. returning citizens, low-income, challenging credit)
  • Transitional support from hospitals and shelters, for persons experiencing domestic violence and other traumatic situations, etc.

Community Collaborations

IPC believes in strong community collaborations and has relationships with several organizations that shares the same values and mission as we do. Through community collaborations, we widen our reach and support persons with:

Housing Insecurities; Mental Health, Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities; Domestic Violence, Rape & Human Trafficking Victims; Veterans, Elderly Citizens; Foster Care Parents & Child Care Providers; Foster Care Youth; Persons suffering from Substance Abuse; Returning Citizens and more.

LaKia opened her program as a response to the lack of childcare in the James City County, Virginia.
